Next Monday Night Singles event is JUNE 24th ~ ENTRIES OPEN
(Please note the Monday Night Singles doesn’t return until after Australian Open due to lack of staff and volunteers. We apologise for any inconvenience)
Controlling Body – Brighton Bowling Club, represented by the Bowls Operations Team
Event: Blue Devil’s Monday Night Singles
Dates and time: Every Week, 6:30pm start.
Entry Conditions: 1 player committed for each week at $15 pp. Play will be conducted in accordance with the Laws of the Sport of Bowls.
Format: Singles, 6 Games of 5 ends. Spot the jack! No rolling Jacks!
Trial ends: There will be no trial ends permitted but bowlers have up until 6:30pm to practice. Arrive at 6pm for start at 6:30pm sharp
Attire: Mufti Attire
Prizes: Weekly prizes will be given to the Winner ($50 cash), Runner Up ($30 cash) and Devil End voucher prize ($10) also awarded (only for people who didn’t receive prize money). PRIZE MONEY TO INCREASE IF WE RECEIVE OVER 16 ENTRIES
Disputes: The decision of the Event Manager is final on all non-umpiring matters
Dead Ends: Re-spot the jack on T.
Delaying of Play: Visiting head condition. Players may only visit the head after the delivery of their third bowl, but we encourage bowlers to ask neighbouring rinks for assistance.
Scoring: Shot=4 points, 2nd shot=3 points, 3rd shot=2 points, 4th shot=1 point. Full (4 shots) “Devil” end count=extra 2 points. Total max points per end is 60 points per game. Winners will be decided on Wins – Points – Percentage.
