Dougie Strikes Again

Team Jacobsen/Watt took out the first place in this year’s Classic Pairs on Sat 11/Sun 12 June 2017 winning all six games with an amazing 100 shots up.  According to all reports, Bob Watt (Mark’s “uncle-in-law”) was in devastating form and complemented his younger partner.

Another Brighton player, Richard Kopcewicz with Terry Silberer came in second, also with six scalps, but not as many shots up.

Chris Ball/Benjamin Thomason came in third with five wins.

David Shaw’s team managed an 8 on one end, but that was not good enough to get them into the money.

Other players from Brighton included Rick Smith, Neil Duncan, Keith Ryder, Bruce Harford, Michael and Mitch Butler, and Richard Fulton.

The Kitchen Wranglers for the event provided excellent meals and service on both days – thanks to Karen, Pam D, Pam R, Josie and Val.

Thanks also to Jack Lawton who has consolidated his position as tournament manager extraordinaire.
